Job summary

Dinges Fire Company seeks a results-driven sales professional to expand our fire and EMT product lines across assigned territories. This 1099 position earns commissions with an approx. 40% gross profit share on each sale, and can be full-time as a primary income or part-time as a strong secondary income.

Many of our representatives are firefighters, which provides a valuable knowledge base for our offerings. You own your territory and control growth potential as your sales increase.

Qualifications

• knowledge of fire service equipment and tools
• knowledge of basic computer applications
• knowledge of customer service principles
• knowledge of basic business principles

Responsibilities

• prepare sales action plans and strategies
• schedule sales activity
• make sales calls to new and existing customers
• develop and present company products and services to clients
• negotiate with clients
• develop sales proposals
• respond to sales inquiries by phone, electronically or in person
• ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• follow up on sales activity and report to management
• participate in sales events and training
