Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a sales-focused professional to maintain and grow a defined fire services customer base in the Newburgh, NY area.

You will manage a territory, nurture relationships, and protect preventative maintenance contracts while aiming to increase revenue per customer. You will serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, identify needs, and translate them into practical sales strategies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Technical aptitude with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Ace, and Report to Web.

Responsibilities

• Manage retention activity across an assigned service agreement customer base of approximately $3M-$3.5M.
• Grow and protect sales within your territory while working toward assigned quota goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and build a detailed understanding of each account, including key decision makers, equipment, service contract details, and history.
• Identify customer needs and turn them into practical sales strategies that support retention, customer satisfaction, and growth.
• Partner with district operations to support service delivery and resolve issues that may affect the customer relationship.
• Track progress and share performance metrics with operations and corporate teams on a weekly and monthly basis.
