Job summary

Carrier seeks a field sales professional to drive growth in a local territory, visiting job sites and building strong partnerships with contractors and building owners to achieve annual sales and gross margin targets.

You will lead on-site presentations, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution. Travel locally is required and applicable experience in Building Automation or HVAC is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or completion of accredited trade/technical program.
• 2+ years of direct B2B sales or account management experience.
• Ability to travel locally across the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Actively visit job sites, customer facilities, and engineering offices to manage and grow territory accounts.
• Develop long-term partnerships with mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, and facility owners; perform walkthroughs and assessments.
• Perform take-offs and bid projects; draft specifications and propose value-engineered control solutions.
• Manage full sales cycle; negotiate scope, pricing, and terms with contractors to close deals.
• Deliver on-site presentations to building owners and project managers; advocate for customer needs with internal teams.
