Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop new prospects and maintain relationships with customers on-site. You will meet or exceed gross margin targets, manage territory accounts, and travel to customer locations as needed.

The role requires 1 year of sales experience (2+ preferred), a 4-year degree (preferred), and the ability to learn the business. Compensation includes a $45,000 base with commission eligibility and a vehicle reimbursement program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of business administration, sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed annual gross margin budget by selling territory products.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and report claims.
• Maintain customer records and assist in collections.
• Participate in training sessions, trade shows and sales meetings.
• Demonstrate products after sale when necessary.
