Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Territory Sales Representative in Lafayette, LA to identify and develop business within the designated territory. You will drive revenue through on-site visits, networking, and targeted sales strategies, while maintaining quotas through equipment rentals and sales.

Requirements include a bachelor’s or higher in marketing or business, with 3–5 years of outside sales in industrial markets preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration preferred.
• 3–5 years of outside sales experience in industrial/heavy equipment markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer sites and offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them via phone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment consistently.
• Identify customer needs and respond while tracking market conditions and competitors' pricing.
• Penetrate strategic accounts to diversify customer base across industrial, traditional and nontraditional segments.
• Support team members in achieving branch objectives.
