Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to identify and grow business within the designated territory. You will manage daily visits to customer job sites and offices to drive revenue for the branch and the company.

The role requires 3–5 years of outside sales experience in the industrial market or heavy equipment sector, a bachelor's degree, and strong networking and planning skills to meet quotas with a base plus commission structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience within the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily territory and drive revenue growth by visiting job sites and offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them regularly by phone and online.
• Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve targets.
• Rent and sell equipment to maintain and exceed quotas.
• Identify customer needs and respond to market conditions and pricing.
• Engage at strategic levels to diversify accounts and support teammates.
