Job summary

Herc Rentals Inc. is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for Salem, OR to identify and develop business relationships within the designated territory.

The role focuses on growing revenue for the branch by renting and selling equipment and by building a strong local network. Candidates should have 3–5 years of outside sales experience in industrial markets, a bachelor’s degree, and the ability to meet quotas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years outside sales experience in industrial market or heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer sites/offices.
• Develop networking list of potential clients and contact them via phone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment.
• Identify customer needs and respond with market understanding and pricing.
• Penetrate customers at strategic level to diversify base to industrial, traditional and nontraditional accounts.
• Support all team members.
