Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the Buda, TX area to build and manage client relationships, drive revenue, and achieve branch goals. You will visit customer job sites, develop sales plans, and maintain a robust network of prospects.

The role rewards a proven outside sales background in industrial equipment, strong communication, and the ability to work independently. A bachelor's degree is preferred, with competitive base pay plus commissions and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration preferred.
• 3–5 years of outside sales experience within the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred.
• Proven track record in outside sales within industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer job sites/offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them by phone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment on a consistent basis.
• Identify customer needs and react accordingly while understanding market conditions and pricing.
