Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to identify, develop and nurture business relationships within a designated territory. The role focuses on growing revenue for the branch by visiting job sites and offices, building a client network, and implementing effective sales strategies to meet quotas.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years outside sales experience in industrial/heavy equipment and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration preferred.
• 3–5 years outside sales experience within the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them by phone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment.
• Identify customer needs and react to market conditions and pricing.
• Penetrate strategic accounts to diversify customer base.
• Support all team members.
