Job summary

Herc Rentals seeks a proactive Territory Sales Representative to grow revenue by visiting customer job sites and offices within the assigned territory. You will build a network of prospects, plan sales strategies and work to exceed quotas through equipment rentals and related services.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration and 3–5 years of outside sales in the industrial/heavy equipment market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration preferred.
• 3–5 years outside sales experience in industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer sites/offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them via phone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment consistently.
• Identify customer needs and respond while understanding market conditions and local pricing.
