Job summary

Acosta Group in Lawnside, NJ is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to drive sales growth for Danone brands within an assigned territory. You will perform sales and merchandising activities, build relationships with store personnel, and deliver an excellent customer experience in a field-based role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be comfortable using a smart device with multiple apps.
• Ability to work independently under remote supervision with integrity and professionalism.
• Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple stores in a territory.
• Experience in outside sales, CPG industry, retail or field sales, and/or territory/route sales & merchandising is preferred.
• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance by promoting and selling consumer packaged goods (CPG) products and merchandising within assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, store personnel and client stakeholders to drive in store sales growth.
• Execute merchandising standards including displays and promotions.
• Participate in in-store sales events and promotional events.
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand product distribution.
• Manage assigned territory through effective routing and prioritization.
• Communicate sales performance insights to internal teams and clients.
• Complete reporting and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and merchandising standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and new product launches.
• Keep management informed of store issues, competitive activity, and market trends.
• Ensure full product distribution and display in all assigned accounts.
• Document and report activities, including sales results, merchandising, and store observations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
