Job summary

The Acosta Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow Danone brand presence within an assigned territory in the United States. This field-based role focuses on promoting CPG products, merchandising, and building strong store relationships to achieve sales targets.

The position offers a daytime schedule with Mon–Fri hours and requires travel to multiple stores within the territory, with mileage reimbursement and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willingness to travel to multiple stores within territory.
• Experience in outside sales, retail or field sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance by promoting and selling CPG products and merchandising within assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, store personnel and client stakeholders to drive in store sales growth.
• Execute merchandising standards including displays and promotions.
• Participate in in-store sales events and promotional events.
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand product distribution.
• Manage assigned territory through effective routing and prioritization.
• Communicate sales performance insights to internal teams and clients.
• Complete reporting and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and merchandising standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and new product launches.
• Keep management informed of store issues, competitive activity, and market trends.
• Ensure full product distribution and display in all assigned accounts.
• Document and report activities, including sales results, merchandising, and store observations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
