R.W. Mercer Co. is a family-owned construction and service company with multiple locations, seeking a Sales Representative to expand our Indiana/Ohio territory.

You will manage accounts, build relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver a professional sales experience and maximize customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes pipeline development, effective presentations, and close collaboration with Project Managers, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in a B2B environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a digital environment using CRM.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell the company’s products and services to current customers and new prospects.
• Build a qualified pipeline of new opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Plan and conduct sales presentations to prospective customers.
• Collaborate with team members to develop strong sales leads.
• Maintain account activity and weekly reports in the CRM system.
• Gather information for accurate scopes of work with plans and photos.
• Attend pre-construction meetings to review scopes, bids, and schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, vendors, and subcontractors for quotes.
• Address scheduling and change orders with project teams.
• Keep customers informed of progress and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain knowledge through training and workshops.
