Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking energetic sales professionals to cover the Indiana/Ohio/Michigan tristate area. You will prospect, qualify accounts, and develop relationships to drive first-time and repeat business with our corrugated packaging products.

The role emphasizes commission-based earnings and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, customer service, and quality teams. Responsibilities include strategic selling, account management, pricing and proposals, and travel to cover the

Qualifications

Outside selling experience or related experience and college course work.
Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to drive.
Able to load and unload samples from vehicle.
College degree, preferably in graphics or packaging.
Experience in the corrugated box industry – internships and co-ops (preferred).

Responsibilities

Keeping an updated and accurate list of prospects and accounts.
Analyzing and qualifying prospective accounts.
Conducting initial contact and subsequent sales calls to accounts, selling and establishing relationships necessary to produce first time and repeat business.
Surpassing sales quota commitments for your area of responsibility.
Implementing sales strategies.
Creating and maintaining customer and prospective relationships.
Managing and closing new sales; pricing and value proposal creation.
Managing working capital and improving cash flow.
Traveling as necessary to cover territory and fulfill responsibilities.
Keeping current on competitive activity in the area.
