Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking an Associate Sales Representative to support builder accounts and grow regional sales in the United States. You will provide product information, pricing support and training to the Builder network.

Responsibilities include developing a high-performance builder organization, engaging with vendors and estimators, and delivering timely solutions to secure key projects. College degree or 4+ years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: College degree in Business, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Preferred: Basic understanding of construction industry.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office and PC based applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of a high-performance customer/Builder organization to achieve product, market share and sales goals within an assigned territory.
• Manage existing accounts and support regional sales efforts with pricing support, product information, and implementing strategies to positively impact financial results.
• Lead training and development programs for Builders and support design and product selection.
• Engage with vendors, estimators and service groups to support Builder success.
• Assist Area Managers by providing timely information to develop optimal solutions.
