Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking an Associate Sales Representative in the Butler Sales department to manage existing accounts and support regional sales by coordinating pricing, product information and Builder programs.

The role emphasizes training, customer service and collaboration with vendors, estimators and service groups to grow tonnage, margin and revenue, with potential for relocation.

Qualifications

• Minimum: College degree in Business, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Preferred: Basic understanding of construction industry and ability to read construction drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office and PC-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of a high performance customer/Builder organization focused on achieving product, market share and sales goals within an assigned territory through meetings and market research.
• Lead training efforts for Builders and support regional sales by coordinating pricing, product information and programs.
• Support existing customer relationships with design and product selection assistance and exceptional customer service.
• Engage with vendors, estimators and service groups to support Builder success and secure projects.
• Participate in regional reviews of quote requests to coordinate pricing and design recommendations.
