BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth and strengthen customer relationships across designated territories in the United States.

The role focuses on strategic account management, negotiating commercial and supply agreements, and delivering sustainable financial results. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 5 years of technical sales or product knowledge and preferably executive-level selling experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Approximately 5 years of technical sales or product knowledge required.
• Preferred: experience in executive-level selling.
• Basic understanding of the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of a high-performance customer/Builder organization focused on achieving product and service sales goals within the territory.
• Establish and develop customer relationships to build a strong customer/Builder organization.
• Develop effective customers/Builders to achieve market share coverage to maximize financial results.
• Increase business performance through customer/Builder relationships, with focus on product, pricing, training, and procedure.
