Job summary

BlueScope North America is seeking an Associate Sales Representative in the Butler Sales department to manage existing accounts and support regional sales efforts with pricing, product information and training efforts. The role focuses on building builder relationships, delivering design assistance, and ensuring customer success across assigned territories.

Qualifications

• College degree in Business, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Basic understanding of construction industry is preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and PC-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of a high performance customer/Builder organization to achieve product, market share and sales goals within an assigned territory.
• Increase customer/Builder performance by reviewing competencies and training needs in sales, product, pricing or procedures.
• Execute customer training and information programs to develop Builder network capability and promote our products.
• Support existing customer relationships with regular contact, design and product selection assistance and best-in-class service.
• Engage in customer meetings and project development to support regional sales efforts and pricing decisions.
• Assist customers/Builders as the technical expert for optimization and pricing of buildings.
