Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead customer relationships and drive sales within a defined territory. You will negotiate commercial and supply agreements while supporting a culture of high performance and trust across the sales organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 5 years of technical sales experience or product knowledge.
• Executive level selling experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of the construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of a high performing customer/Builder organization to meet sales goals in the territory.
• Establish and develop customer relationships to build a strong customer/Builder network.
• Develop effective customers/Builders to achieve market share coverage and maximize financial results.
• Increase business performance through customer/Builder relationships, focusing on product, pricing, training, and procedures.
