Job summary

The Blood Connection seeks an Account Manager to lead in donor recruitment and drive growth across the assigned territory. You will manage existing blood drive accounts, maximize production, and identify new partners while coordinating with the Donor Resources Department to meet collection goals.

You will plan campaigns, engage sponsor groups, and provide exceptional service to donors and partners. Strong communication, organization, and MS Office skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Outside sales and/or marketing experience of 2 years preferred or related experience.
• Public Speaking ability to sell The Blood Connection to all groups in the community.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions and dependable transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute strategies to recruit, retain, and manage sponsor groups to hit territory collection goals.
• Establish blood drive projections in line with resources and needs.
• Develop potential sponsor leads and recruit donors and volunteers.
• Coordinate meetings and presentations with sponsor groups to promote drives.
• Provide superior customer service to blood donors, sponsor groups, and internal/external customers.
• Educate the community by attending health fairs and speaking at events to spread the mission.
