Job summary

The Blood Connection, Incorporated is seeking an Account Manager to own and grow a defined territory of blood drive accounts. You will strengthen sponsor relationships, maximize donor turnout, and identify new partnerships to drive account success and growth.

You will support blood drive coordinators with planning, recruitment tools, and proactive follow-up, ensuring high-quality events and ongoing partner engagement.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 2+ years in account management, sales, marketing, or relationship-driven roles.
• Proven ability to build, manage, and grow client or partner relationships.
• Strong public speaking skills with diverse audiences.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage, grow, and retain a portfolio of blood drive accounts within an assigned territory.
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with sponsor organizations.
• Maximize account performance by increasing donor participation.
• Identify and develop new sponsor partnerships to expand territory growth.
• Plan and execute recruitment strategies to engage donor groups.
• Lead meetings, trainings, and communications with partners.
• Serve as primary contact for accounts before, during, and after events.
• Collaborate to develop campaigns that increase donor turnout.
• Provide exceptional customer service to donors, sponsors, and internal stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at events, health fairs, and outreach activities.
