Job summary

The Blood Connection, Incorporated is seeking an Account Manager to manage and grow blood drive accounts within a defined territory. The role focuses on maximizing production, developing new accounts, and efficiently utilizing corporate resources.

You will support blood drive coordinators through planning, marketing tools, donor appointment management, and proactive follow-up. As part of the Donor Resources Department, you will collaborate with management to meet collection goals and inventory

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 2 years outside sales/marketing experience preferred.
• Public speaking ability to sell The Blood Connection to the community.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors, and coworkers.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute strategies to recruit, retain, and manage sponsor groups to achieve territory goals.
• Establish blood drive projections in line with resources and needs.
• Develop potential sponsor leads.
• Coordinate meetings and presentations with sponsor groups to teach recruitment techniques.
• Provide superior customer service to blood donors, donor groups, and internal/external customers.
• Educate the community by attending health fairs and events to promote blood drives.
• Build strong relationships with sponsor groups to grow blood drives into more successful events.
• Exhibit teamwork within the division to meet divisional goals.
