Job summary

The Blood Connection, Incorporated is seeking an Account Manager in the Donor Resources Department to manage a territory, grow blood drive accounts, and align resources to meet collection goals. You will partner with donor chairs, sponsor groups, and coordinators to plan campaigns, educate communities, and optimize donor participation.

Ideal candidates have a college degree and at least 2 years in outside sales or marketing, with strong communication and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Outside sales and/or marketing experience of 2 years preferred or related experience.
• Public Speaking-ability to sell The Blood Connection to community groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute strategies to recruit and manage sponsor groups to achieve territory blood collection goals.
• Establish blood drive projections in line with divisional resources.
• Develop potential sponsor leads and recruit donors and volunteers.
• Coordinate meetings and presentations with sponsor groups to promote drives and educate about goals.
• Provide superior customer service to blood donors, sponsor groups, and internal/external customers.
