Job summary

The Blood Connection, Incorporated is seeking an Account Manager to maximize blood drive production within a defined territory. You will cultivate sponsor groups, manage donor events, and coordinate with the Donor Resources Department to meet collection goals.

You will recruit new accounts, plan campaigns, and ensure excellent service to donors and groups. A college degree is preferred, along with sales experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 2 years outside sales/marketing experience preferred.
• Excellent public speaking and communication.
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Valid driver’s license with dependable transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers.
• Organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute strategies to recruit, retain, and manage sponsor groups to reach territory blood collection goals.
• Establish blood drive projections in line with resources and needs.
• Develop potential sponsor leads.
• Coordinate drive planning and attendee involvement.
• Provide superior customer service to donors, groups, and partners.
• Educate the community at health fairs and events to promote blood drives.
