Job summary

The Blood Connection in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking an Account Manager to grow and manage territory blood drive accounts. You will recruit sponsors, coordinate drives, and ensure inventory and collection goals are met through proactive planning and community engagement.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in outside sales or marketing, strong speaking and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Outside sales and/or marketing experience preferred (2 years).
• Public Speaking - ability to sell The Blood Connection to community groups.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute strategies to recruit, retain, and manage sponsor group organizations to achieve territory goals.
• Establish blood drive projections in line with resources and needs.
• Develop potential sponsor leads and recruitment tactics.
• Coordinate meetings and presentations with sponsor groups to teach recruitment techniques.
• Provide superior customer service to blood donors, donor groups, and sponsors.
• Educate the community by attending health fairs and events to promote blood drives.
• Build strong relationships with sponsor groups to grow blood drives.
