Job summary

Repligen is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales of upstream and downstream processing solutions across the New Jersey, New York, and Delaware territory. This home-office role reports to the Regional Sales Director and requires a proven sales record in life sciences, plus willingness to travel extensively.

You will develop territory plans, manage opportunities in a leading CRM, and negotiate with technical and procurement teams while building strong customer relationships and contributing

Qualifications

• Minimum a BSc degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or life sciences industries.
• Strong understanding of Cell Culture, Chromatography and Filtration.
• Proven successful sales track record and key account management experience.
• Ability to build mutually beneficial, trusting relationships with customers, suppliers and partners.
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills; willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales opportunities direct at customers to meet or exceed targets.
• Develop and execute a Territory Sales Plan with the District Sales Manager.
• Drive Opportunity Pipeline development using a CRM.
• Lead sales negotiations with technical and procurement departments.
• Establish and maintain strategic and key account relationships.
• Prospect and develop new target accounts across the territory.
• Develop and support customers as they move through the clinical pipeline.
• Share product, market and competitive information with the team.
• Support the development of sales collateral and forecasting.
