Job summary

BigIron is hiring a full-time Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in the agriculture industry by selling BigIron's online auction services. The role manages an assigned local territory, travels regularly, and works from a home-based office when not meeting customers.

Base salary plus commissions offers the potential to reach $100,000–$150,000+ total compensation. Responsibilities include developing farmer and dealer relationships, prospecting for new business, and guiding

Qualifications

3+ years of sales or territory management experience.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to travel regularly within the territory.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and local ag businesses.
Prospect for new business through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and phone outreach.
Meet customers on farms, at shops, and within the territory.
Evaluate equipment and discuss auction timing, pricing strategy, and selling options.
Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions.
Coordinate with internal teams to prepare equipment for sale.
Support customers through the auction process and after the sale.
Manage and grow revenue within the assigned territory.
