Job summary

BigIron is hiring a full-time Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in the agriculture industry by selling BigIron’s online auction services. You will manage an assigned local territory and work directly with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and ag businesses to market and sell equipment through the BigIron online platform.

The role is field-based outside sales with daily territory travel and a home-based office when not meeting customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales or territory management.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Able to travel regularly within the territory.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and local ag businesses
• Prospect for new business through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and phone outreach
• Meet with customers on farms, at shops, and throughout your assigned territory
• Evaluate equipment and discuss auction timing, pricing strategy, and selling options
• Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare equipment for sale
• Support customers throughout the auction process and provide ongoing service after the sale
• Manage and grow revenue within your assigned territory
