Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Toledo, Ohio seeks an Account Manager for the General Line to drive equipment sales and service activity in a defined territory. You will quote, strategize, prospect, and build relationships to hit revenue targets while supporting a major distributor and direct customers.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial sales, strong relationship skills, and comfort with travel in Northwest Ohio. A high school diploma is required, and a preference for a bachelor’s degree in engineering

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 4+ years’ experience in an industrial sales business setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent (preferred).
• Knowledge of Salesforce (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by selling equipment, service contracts, and offerings to end users and dealers in a defined territory.
• Develop and expand the existing customer base and secure new accounts to grow IR’s market presence.
• Ensure accurate orders, resolve disputes, and manage travel and entertainment costs.
• Uphold safety rules in the field and at the customer center.
• Collaborate with the service team to tailor solutions and support customers.
• Maintain CRM records and track orders, opportunities, and pipeline activity.
