Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive growth in the Northeastern US territory (NY, CT, Western MA). You will manage existing accounts, identify new opportunities, and propose technical and business solutions to meet customer needs.

The role requires a technical background, 3–5 years in technical product sales, and strong communication. You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver demonstrations, develop plans, and ensure customer

Qualifications

• Technical BS Degree (ideally Electrical Engineering) or relevant technical sales experience.
• 3–5 years of industry related experience in technical product sales.
• Account management experience in the electronic hardware technology sector.
• Strong understanding of electronics test and measurements.
• Excellent written & verbal communication, negotiation, organization and problem solving skills.
• Overnight travel (typically <25%) required.

Responsibilities

• Generate existing and/or new sales for assigned territory.
• Promote and sell products and/or solutions to current or new customers/partners and inform customers of new product introductions.
• Create, monitor and revise lead generation plans.
• Develop customers and maintain their satisfaction.
• Maintain positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers.
• Proactively understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries; create business opportunities.
• Determine and develop approaches to sales assignments to achieve quota/strategies.
• Lead projects requiring coordination with other functions and organizations.
