Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage a Northeastern NY, CT, and Western MA territory. You will grow the business by developing accounts, proposing technical solutions, and coordinating internal resources to win opportunities.

The role requires a technical BS degree or equivalent sales experience, strong electronics knowledge, and proven leadership. Expect travel as needed and a focus on sustainable growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Technical BS degree or relevant technical sales experience.
• 3–5 years of industry related experience in technical product sales.
• Account management experience in electronic hardware technology.
• Strong understanding of electronics test and measurements.
• Strong written & verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel (overnight travel) and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Generate existing and/or new sales for assigned territory.
• Promote and sell products/solutions to customers and inform them of new product introductions.
• Create, monitor and revise lead generation plans.
• Develop customers and maintain satisfaction.
• Maintain long-term relationships with key customers.
• Understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries; create business opportunities.
• Determine approaches to sales assignments to achieve quota/strategies.
• Lead projects requiring coordination with other functions to execute growth strategy.
