Job summary

BD is seeking an Account Executive to drive Pharmacy Automation sales within a defined territory including community and small hospital accounts. You will build trust with pharmacy directors, hospital executives, and business leaders while delivering BD Pharmacy Automation solutions to improve medication management, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

The role emphasizes developing new relationships, expanding existing accounts, and guiding opportunities through the RxA sales

Qualifications

Bachelor degree required.
5 years of proven sales experience in healthcare, capital equipment, or related environments.
Experience developing new accounts and expanding customer relationships within a defined territory.
Strong ability to engage hospital leaders and business decision-makers.
Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
Ability to analyze sales performance metrics and translate value into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute territory plan focused on community and small hospitals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
Build relationships with pharmacy directors, hospital executives, and finance/operational leaders.
Understand customer needs, budgets, timelines, and decision processes.
Present business cases showing value, ROI, and financial impact.
Manage sales process from prospecting to close and handoff.
Maintain CRM records and quarterly territory plans.
Serve as a knowledge resource on BD Pharmacy Automation hardware/software.
