Job summary

BD is seeking an Account Executive for Community and Small Hospital Accounts to drive Pharmacy Automation sales across a defined geographic territory. You will develop new relationships, expand existing ones, and articulate how BD Pharmacy Automation improves medication management, operations, and financial outcomes.

The role focuses on territory growth, customer engagement, and end-to-end RxA sales process with a strong emphasis on results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• 5 years of proven sales experience in healthcare, capital equipment, healthcare technology, pharmacy automation, medical technology, or related solution-selling environments required.
• Experience developing new accounts and expanding customer relationships within a defined territory.
• Strong ability to engage hospital leaders, pharmacy stakeholders, finance and operational decision-makers.
• Solid experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan focused on community hospitals, small hospitals, and targeted healthcare accounts.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and geographic territory.
• Build relationships with pharmacy directors, hospital executives, finance leaders, operational leaders, and other local decision-makers.
• Understand customer needs, budgets, and timelines within community hospital environments.
• Position BD Pharmacy Automation solutions with clear customer value and return on investment.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting through proposal, negotiation, close, and handoff.
