Job summary

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operations products, offers a two-year training program for aspiring sales professionals. You will gain hands-on experience in account management, product knowledge and business development within a structured path to a field sales role.

In this role you will build relationships, prospect new customers, plan territory activities and learn our sales processes through workshops and field support.

Qualifications

• Two-year training program focused on sales skills and product knowledge.
• Eligibility for a sales role after program completion.
• Ability to travel within designated territory as needed.

Responsibilities

• Relationship management: Cultivate strong customer relationships in the territory.
• Cold calling & Prospecting: Grow a book of business with new customers.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Plan weekly activities to drive territory growth.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate products and communicate value to customers.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed quotas using training programs.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate daily sales activity records in company systems.
