• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and execution of the dispatch plan with a team of dispatchers and schedulers.
• Set priorities for dispatchers and balance workloads throughout the day.
• Collaborate with Safety, Driver Recruitment, Customer Service, Sales to serve drivers and customers.
• Manage driver cost and productivity while ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
• Understand GWI dispatch process to dispatch as needed.
• Monitor volumes, capacity, KPI targets, and asset usage to meet customer needs.
• Communicate freight needs with scheduling and coordinate with M&R for assets.
• Resolve conflicts between contractors and dispatch as needed within policy.
• Manage P&L, costs, and margins to improve terminal profitability.
• Support new Key Account/Contract opportunities and build relationships with contractors.
