Job summary

Gulf Winds International, Inc. seeks a Terminal Manager to oversee the Houston terminal, directing dispatch operations, scheduling, and driver coordination in a fast-paced intermodal environment.

The role emphasizes driver retention, cost control, and meeting performance metrics while collaborating with Safety, Driver Recruitment, Customer Service, and Sales. This is an in-person, full-time role across All Markets.

Qualifications

• 5 years of transportation experience.
• Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
• Dependable and able to work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day terminal operations and execution of the dispatch plan with the team of dispatchers and schedulers.
• Set priorities for the dispatchers throughout the day and coordinate with Safety, Driver Recruitment, Customer Service and Sales.
• Manage driver costs and productivity; ensure KPI targets are met andMargins.
• Oversee volumes, assets, capacity and customer requirements to support driver and customer success.
• Communicate freight needs with scheduling group and coordinate with M&R as needed.
