Job summary

Gulf Winds International is seeking a Terminal Manager to lead the Houston terminal operations, including dispatch oversight, driver retention, scheduling execution, cost management, and KPI achievement.

The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, manage a team of dispatchers and schedulers, coordinate with Safety, Driver Recruitment, Customer Service and Sales, and ensure compliant, safe, and efficient drayage operations across all markets.

Qualifications

• 5 Years of transportation experience.
• Must be computer literate with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day dispatch operations with a team of dispatchers and schedulers.
• Set priorities for dispatchers and coordinate with Safety, Driver Recruitment, Customer Service and Sales.
• Manage driver cost and productivity, and ensure margins meet company targets.
• Lead P&L, costs, and margins with focus on profitability of the terminal.
• Ensure KPI tracking and quarterly performance for the team.
