Benihana in Miami is seeking a hibachi chef/cook who will engage guests with a lively cooking show and deliver a memorable dining experience. The role is frontline, cooking in front of guests and ensuring portions meet recipes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to successfully pass Benihana chef training program.
• Previous experience as chef or cook highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests within 15 minutes of their teppan order.
• Perform a cooking show for assigned tables with courteous interaction.
• Provide guests with information about Benihana foods during cooking.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and follow guest instructions.
• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items for cooking.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and teppan areas and report issues.
