Benihana offers a dynamic chef role where you will entertain guests at hibachi tables while preparing high‑quality meals. You will ensure portion accuracy, maintain clean cooking areas, and deliver a memorable dining experience.

This position requires passing the Benihana chef training program and prior kitchen experience is highly desirable. A family‑oriented, team‑driven environment with opportunities for growth and employee meals is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to successfully pass Benihana chef training program.
• Previous experience as chef or cook highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes guests within 15 minutes of their teppan order(s).
• Perform a cooking show for assigned tables ensuring interaction is appropriate and courteous.
• Provide guests with information about Benihana foods as they are cooked or upon inquiry.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables for cooking using kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and teppan areas; report issues to MOD or manager on duty.
