Job summary

USTA Pacific Northwest is seeking RecTennis instructors and site directors to work at local parks, schools, and recreation centers across the region. The roles are part-time, hourly, non-exempt, seasonal, and on-call, with pay ranging from $17.50 to $22.50 per hour depending on city and role.

Responsibilities include creating a safe, fun learning environment, delivering curriculum, supervising sessions, coordinating logistics, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching tennis is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for Site Director; 14+ for Instructors.
• Reliable, patient, and capable of working with children and adults.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to lead and supervise sessions as Site Director.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, safe, and fun learning environment for all participants.
• Communicate professionally with parents, partners, and community organizers.
• Implement program curriculum and provide on-going instruction.
• Ensure equipment setup and take down; ensure safety of equipment.
• Check attendance roll and parent sign-off at session end.
• Stay at site until participants are picked up.
• Perform marketing tasks such as hanging flyers and marketing events.
• Programs occur outdoors/indoors and may face extreme weather.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Site Director or Regional Manager.
• Represent USTA PNW facilities and NetGeneration products.
• Follow all USTA PNW procedures and protocols.
