Job summary

USTA Pacific Northwest is seeking RecTennis Instructors and Site Directors to join our local parks, schools, and community centers across Washington. This role offers part-time, hourly, seasonal, non-exempt work with on-call flexibility and pay ranging from $17.50 to $22.50 per hour depending on city and role.

As a mission-driven nonprofit, you will create a welcoming, safe tennis learning environment, deliver curriculum, monitor equipment, coordinate with parents and partners, and support site

Qualifications

• Experience teaching tennis is preferred.
• Instructors can be an employee of any age over 14; Site Directors must be 18+.
• Experience working with children and adults in a teaching setting is preferred.
• Dependability, communication skills, and an excellent work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, safe, and fun learning environment for all participants.
• Communicate professionally with parents, partners, and community organizers.
• Implement program curriculum and provide ongoing instruction at program sites.
• Ensure equipment set-up and take down; transport may be required depending on location.
