Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead in New Jersey to drive an outstanding customer experience while overseeing front-end operations, merchandising, and store safety. You will assume Manager on Duty responsibilities during shifts and help coach associates to deliver WOW service.

This temporary, hourly position requires strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills, with the aim of boosting sales and maintaining store standards throughout peak periods.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew deliver WOW customer service and friendly checkout.
• Train crew on BEST customer service experience and policies.
• Oversee daily store activities and staff performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking shelves for quick placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and handle store operations.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, set alarms, and ensure smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance.
