Job summary

Five Below in Metairie is seeking an Interim Support Lead to help deliver an outstanding shopping experience. You will assist with front end operations, cash handling, merchandising, cleanliness, safety, and drive sales while acting as Manager On Duty during shifts.

This temporary role offers leadership exposure, on-the-job training for associates, and the chance to work with the store leadership team during peak season.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wowing customers through personal contact and fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure service quality.
• Assist with receiving, stock organization, and merchandising.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and support opening/closing processes.
• Train and onboard associates; drive sales and control expenses.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety, including stock room upkeep.
