Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead in Metairie, LA to support store operations and guest experience. Reporting to the Store Manager, this hourly role focuses on front-end operations, cash handling, merchandising, safety, and driving sales during peak periods.

You will train and supervise crew, open and close the store, assist with stock, and coordinate with leadership to ensure a WOW customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• College experience is preferred.
• At least 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew deliver WOW Customer experience with fast, friendly checkout.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure top service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking of new items.
• Act as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts.
• Manage opening/closing of the store, cash controls, and alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising and recovery.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock areas.
