Job summary

Five Below, Inc. is seeking an Interim Support Lead for our Metairie store to help deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

You will assist front-end operations, cash handling, merchandising, cleanliness, and safety while driving sales and guest satisfaction. As a temporary leadership role, you will take on Manager On Duty responsibilities during shifts, support onboarding and training of associates, and partner with the leadership team to maintain strong customer service and efficient daily

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Creative thinking and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly check out.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff concerns.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, and set alarms for smooth operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery processes.
• Perform general store maintenance including cleanliness and stocking.
