Opti Staffing is seeking a dependable Customer Service Representative for a temporary role in Fairbanks, Alaska. The position supports customer and driver communications, order entry, and daily dispatch tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to learn dispatch and internal software systems. DOE experience preferred; position ends around April 2027.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office; able to learn dispatch software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer incoming calls professionally.
• Enter customer orders accurately for products and deliveries.
• Coordinate and schedule daily deliveries with customers, drivers, and internal departments.
• Use dispatch software to monitor delivery trucks, status, and quantities.
• Respond to questions regarding orders, pricing, payments, invoices, products, and deliveries.
• Serve as liaison between customers, drivers and departments to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain delivery documentation, customer records, and inventory reconciliation.
• Assist with invoicing, data entry, and general office duties.
• Research products and applications to resolve customer questions.
