Job summary

Alaska Communications is hiring a Service Delivery Specialist I to support post-sale activities in Anchorage. You will assist sales, engineering, and field services, determine suitable devices and services, and ensure accurate order processing and billing alignment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• A minimum of two years of customer service experience including order preparation and processing.
• Analytical skills for processing information and data entry in computer-based records systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Orders for Field/CO Presentation.
• Clear and close troubles and orders through billing and related apps.
• Email inquiries for order or trouble scope and follow through to completion.
• Provision service orders to switch customers between exchange carriers for Portability.
• Process service orders using computer-based billing and facility record systems.
• Maintain and research records related to 911 addresses and data.
• Create Service Delay Orders for service relief across departments.
• Review workflows for completeness and generate regular reports.
• Provide training and mentoring to new team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
