Fourth Floor is seeking a Temporary Archive Assistant in Secaucus, New Jersey to join the fashion brand’s archive team. You will assess object condition, apply collections management techniques for proper storage, and support design pulls and research to maintain accurate item locations in the database.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, with knowledge of archival practices and experience in digital and physical asset management, and able to perform standing activities for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the condition of objects
• Apply collections managements techniques to properly store items
• Provide support to the archive team with design pulls and research
• Maintain and monitor accurate object locations in the company’s database through object inventory
• Participate in ongoing archive maintenance including object labeling, collection organization, hanger replacement, and object vacuuming as required
