Job summary

Tory Burch is seeking an Archive Contractor for the Secaucus location to oversee day-to-day archival operations, organizing and preserving past season corporate product across all categories.

You will work hands-on with iconic pieces, maintain accessible and pristine archives, and support fulfillment, intake, and inventory processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A passion for fashion history and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about fashion history and organization.
• Experience in archive, sample library, fashion showroom, or related environment (internships welcome).
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Familiarity with archive best practices and object handling procedures.
• Experience in cataloging, classifying, or inventorying garments and accessories.
• Ability to lift and move inventory boxes and samples up to 40 lbs.
• Strong computer skills; Excel, inventory systems, or digital asset platforms a plus.
• A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Master's degree in Dress, Costume, Fashion History, Art History, or Decorative Arts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Archive Fulfillment & Coordination, staging garments and shipments to NY/NJ offices.
• Receive and process ongoing shipments of Corporate product with accurate intake and organization.
• Organize Corporate archive inventory by category, season, and year.
• Tag and rehouse garments using approved archival materials.
• Perform routine object care and general collection upkeep.
• Photograph missing images and upload to Tory Track with correct style codes.
• Assist with annual physical audit of archive inventory at Secaucus location.
