Job summary

Caltrol is seeking a temporary Total Rewards Specialist to support benefits and leave administration for approximately 340 employee-owners across multiple states. This onsite assignment runs from November 2026 through March 2027 with potential extension and possible remote/hybrid options while the Las Vegas office is under construction.

Responsibilities include open enrollment, leave administration, payroll and carrier coordination, and responding to employee questions.

Qualifications

• Experience administering CFRA, FMLA, PDL, PFL, SDI, and Paid Sick Leave.
• Strong knowledge of leave eligibility and return-to-work processes.
• Experience with open enrollment administration and carrier coordination.
• HIPAA awareness and handling of PHI with discretion.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting, auditing, and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Manage annual open enrollment from planning to post-enrollment auditing.
• Administer employee leave programs from intake to return to work, coordinating with payroll and benefits.
• Process new-hire enrollments, life events, updates, and payroll deductions.
• Serve as frontline support for benefits inbox and escalate complex issues.
• Reconcile carrier invoices and prepare reports on benefits activity.
• Maintain and audit data in UKG and other vendor platforms.
